The last time I walked into this building, 

I got FIRED!

Well not today BABY!

This week

In my home town

Hence the name, Downtown Shelley Brown!

I walked right back into that building!

And not just any building mind you,

the Willis Tower (Yeah, I know. We can’t stop calling it the Sears Tower) 

And not to speak at just any company

My proud return was for

UNITED AIRLINES 

(I just yelled that out loud as I typed it in my best Oprah voice!)

United’s purpose, “Connecting people. Uniting the world,” 

Was palpable!

I spent the day with extraordinary human beings leading the BRGs (Business Resource Groups) dedicated to building community, belonging and allyship and who beyond their full time jobs, champion diversity, equity and inclusion for their workplace and beyond!

I am in LOVE!

Mostly, thank you for being and doing what you do and embodying your values to make this world a better place for the communities you serve
